their mark abroad!
Monday, December 18, 2023 - 13:57
From October to December 2023, Graphic Matters (known for its international Graphic Design festival), based in Breda (Netherlands) organized the Student Challenge AI AI AI... for graphic design students from the Netherlands and Belgium.
This December 14, a professional jury, composed of Noëlle van Dijk (AI artist), Thomas Castro (curator of the graphic design department of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam) and Dennis Elbers (director and founder of Graphic Matters) selected 55 posters from more than 450 submissions.
As part of the Graphic Design Project course, 3rd year students of the Bachelor of Graphic Techniques - option Graphic design were able to develop a project to send to the AI AI AI Student Challenge.
Four projects were retained and selected by the jury!
These are posters of Simon Daine, Charlotte Lebon, Alexandra Haesen and Mathias Kofi.
The students went to Breda to discover, during the opening, their work magnificently displayed.
The 55 selected posters are presented for three months in the 3sec.gallery in Breda (Netherlands), which is an exceptional opportunity for young creators to professionally exhibit their work and show it to the outside world!
The 3sec.gallery is an unusual place: it is the only gallery in the world accessible by car because it gives access to the Breda Theater parking lot. The gallery is also accessible on foot and by bike.
Every 3 months, a new exhibition is presented there. There are group and individual exhibitions with works by international designers.
