HEPL took part in the academic mission to Senegal from 𝟮𝟭 to 𝟮𝟲 May

A mission rich in exchanges and partnership prospects

Many representatives of Senegalese universities traveled to Dakar to meet representatives of Belgian universities and higher education institutions.

More than fifteen higher education institutions have participated in this mission under the presidency of Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid.

The directors of the agronomic and health sciences departments were able to establish links in particular with the universities of Dakar (UCAD), Saint Louis (UGB), Thiès (UIDT) and with the University of Diamniadio (UAM) in the field of agronomic and health sciences, but also with the ENDSS, paramedical training school.

Senegalese alumni meetings were organized by the WBI. These alumni enriched the exchanges with their experiences in Belgium and their skills in their areas of expertise. Collaboration and partnership projects are emerging within the framework of training, but also research for the HEPL.

The conditions are met for this mission to lead to student and teacher mobility projects within the framework of training and research/development of projects: French, Belgian or European training of professors, deans and rectors, partnerships already existing, a certain pragmatism, and the desire for balanced partnerships leading to mutual intellectual and human enrichment.
